Uro-Pro by Douglas Laboratories is a comprehensive combination of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbals, and other nutrients, carefully formulated and specifically designed to support the healthy function of the prostate gland during the normal aging of men.

Functions

The active ingredients of Uro-Pro® have been shown to positively affect the structure and function of a man’s prostate gland.† Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens), aided by pygeum (Pygeum africanum), inhibits the conversion of testosterone to its more active form, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), via inhibition of alpha-5- reductase. Saw palmetto not only inhibits the binding of DHT to cellular receptors, but also has alpha1- adrenoceptor-inhibitory properties.

Alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonism may be responsible for saw palmetto’s therapeutic effect in supporting the urinary tract during the normal aging of men. Sawpalmettoextractshave also been found to help maintain healthy levels of prostaglandins and leukotrienes which in turn support healthy processes.

• Pygeum Africanum (standardized extract) -.50 mg
• Pumpkin Seed Powder – 100 mg
• Glycine – 50 mg
• L-Alanine – 50 mg
• L-Glutamic Acid – 50 mg
• Grape seed extract – 10 mg
• Vitamin A – 2,500 I.U.
• Vitamin E (d-alpha Tocopheryl Succinate) – 30 I.U.
• Vitamin B-6 – 25 mg
  (Pyridoxine HCl/Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate)
• Zinc (from Zinc Picolinate/Oxide Complex) – 15 mg

Suggested Use
