Multi-Probiotic Sinus Support by Douglas Laboratories is a unique formula that offers targeted sinus support. It contains four strains of probiotics and NutraFlora® scFOS® prebiotic fiber to support the immune system, combined with N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) for its antioxidant and mucolytic properties beneficial for nasal and bronchial health, and the bioflavonoid Quercetin helps maintain respiratory support.

Functions

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a powerful, natural antioxidant that works in the sinus and nasal passages to support normal mucus viscosity and flow. NAC is efficiently transported into the cell where it is readily converted to cysteine for glutathione synthesis. Thus, supplementation with N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine can raise intracellular glutathione levels.

As such, glutathione is a powerful antioxidant to scavenge toxic free radicals and inhibit peroxidation. Quercetin a common type of flavonoid found in various plants that provides antioxidant protection against environmental stresses. In laboratory studies, quercetin supports normal histamine release, which is important for supporting sinus health.

Other ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule),vegetable stearate.

Suggested Use

Take 1 capsule 3 times daily, preferably on an empty stomach, or as directed by one of our health coach professionals.
